Luxury as expected with some lovely touches

"Upgraded with a suite with our son which was great for space. Also a great park (which is hard to find). in Tokyo across the road our 4 yr old loved. It is a fair walk to the station (and back) each day so get the shuttle at least one day ! Some 7/11 type shops around corner but otherwise away from the action a bit. If you want to get out and about, I suggest Golden Gai area (although you can't take children). Also note you can't take kids into New York bar, and then need to keep fairly quiet in pool area to respect people who are relaxing. I also liked the free evening stretch session they had on at 9pm one night. Keep an eye out for activities. !"

Pleasant, comfortable, and dated.

"Good value for money, in terms of the more upgraded rooms. Comfortable beds, nice Aesop toiletries, soundproofing, and a convenient iPhone charger which also allowed for streaming video from the phone to the tv (great for the kids when they want to just chill with a film). Internet was fast, free, and reliable. Tea/coffee (Nespresso) in room was decent. The bar on the 52nd floor has a nice atmosphere and live music every night, a good assortment of (western) drinks and food, but it's extremely expensive. Room service provided ice in the rooms all the time, and the mini-bar is well stocked. Swimming pool is kid-friendly."

It was an amazing stay for our entire family.

"It was an amazing stay for our entire family. My children even had bath robes to fit, for their size & age. Everything about the hotel is stunning, including the little cafe in the basement! The staff our so incredibly lovely, assisting our every need. Our children watched a movie in bed, while we had a drink in the rooftop bar. We shared 2 double beds in our room, which was more than comfortable for a family of 4."
